Jackson opened its season with a victory, powered by a dominant performance from Jada Moorehead.
The senior forward put up a team-high 18 points and 14 rebounds as Jackson held on for an impressive 56-51 win over Grand Ledge.
Fellow senior Romee Natschke chipped in 12 points while Jada Patton was the final Viking in double figures with 10 points as the Vikings opened the season 1-0.
