Boys Varsity Football vs. Tecumseh HS School

Game Date
Oct 5, 2018
Score
VIKINGS: 57
TECUMSEH HIGH SCHOOL: 14

Jackson 57, Tecumseh 14

“Jackson got out to a 15-point lead less than five minutes into the game and never looked back.

The Vikings routed Tecumseh 57-14 to improve to 7-0 on the season and win their first conference championship since 1942.
‘It's exciting for the community, alumni and school,’ said Jackson coach Scott Farley after the game. ‘It's also gratifying for the players and staff that have worked so hard together to earn the championship together. We still have a ways to go, so we're not planning to slow it down.’

Jackson, which normally runs over teams passed the ball early and often as quarterback Noah Bush had a career night.

Bush completed 6-of-8 passes for 123 yards, three touchdowns and one interception and ran for 53 yards on nine carries.

Dakota Robertson caught two passes for 69 yards and took both for touchdowns in addition to rushing seven times for 83 yards and one more score.

As always, Exziar Edwards led the rushing attack, rushing 17 times for 141 yards and three touchdowns.

For the sixth time in seven games, Jackson held its opponent to fewer than 100 rushing yards, this time dominating Tecumseh on the ground by out-rushing the Indians 348-45.

The Vikings look to continue their perfect season and wrap up an unblemished league record in their first year in the SEC-White next week against Pinckney.”
