"Jackson continues to roll, defeating Dexter 29-19, improving to 4-0 overall, its best start since it went 4-0 to open the 1970.

And while the final score looks close -- and the contest was a tight one until the fourth quarter --  the box score was rather lopsided.

Jackson ran 75 plays while Dexter ran just 41 and out-gained the Dreadnaughts 442-208 in total yards.

After Dexter took an early 7-0 lead, Jackson responded with an 11-yard touchdown pass from Noah Bush to Zion Hardrick and took an 8-7 lead after a successful two-point conversion.

Jackson extended the lead to 15-7 on an 11-yard touchdown run by Exziar Edwards, but that was cut to 15-13 at the half.

Edwards added another touchdown rush to make it 22-13 before Dexter pulled within three, 22-19 near the end of the third quarter.

But late in the fourth, Dakota Robertson scored from four yards out with 20 seconds left, capping a 22-play, 81-yard drive and putting the exclamation point on a 29-19 win.

Edwards finished with 36 rushes for 198 yards and two scores, Bush went 7-of-8 passing with 110 yards and one touchdown through the air and 11 rushes for 54 yards while Robertson had 11 rushes for 39 yards and the final touchdown."
